Here are a couple of sketches I've made recently-

This is a sketch for a book about characters in a book shop - the idea is to include information about the characters who buy books from the Amnesty shop in Bristol, where I have volunteered. 

This was whilst I was reading Linda Colley's Captives book about captivity in the British Empire - I very much enjoyed the book!
